I love Elin! She just came by with chicken, potatos, sallad, chips, candy and rasberries. If she comes in in Denmark I am going to miss her sooo much!

I am home in 3 days and I look forward to it so much. I already have some plans for the weekend, which is good so I don't get restless or anything.

Midsummer eve

Had a really nice midsummer eve with Swedes and Norwegians at the campus field. It was fun; we ate lots of food, strawberries and cake, danced around a midsummer pole (A girl holding 2 garlands of flowers) and drinking aquavit (so disgusting, but it is a tradition).
I don't have any pictures from tonight, will have to take pictures next year instead!

Soon going home, yaay. One exam which not many seem to have the energy to study for, especially when some third and second year student are done already.

Ninja fever

I think the dogs have fever, or at least Ninja. So I have been sitting for the last 40min trying to cool her down. There is something with this apartment because it won't cool down, I have all window and doors open and fans on, but no it is hotter in here than outside. I regulate to it but the dogs don't seem to be able too. Now Ninja is boiling up, Daisy was the same way a couple of days ago. I am a little scared of going to sleep so it will be a long night. But if Ninja is worse or the same tomorrow morning I am heading to the vet! They have a tick here in Poland which can carry a deadly virus for dogs and you get a little paranoid knowing that.

Passed an exam today too yaay, only 1 huge one to go! Might go to the fan zone the day before I go home and see the semifinal. I am even looking forward to the trip home; 3 girls, 4 dogs and looots of packing, 5 hour drive, 10 hour ferry and 4 hour drive back to Gothenburg!

Good and bad

This day has been both good and bad.
Good:
I think a guy flirted with me or gave me a compliment in polish
A couple on the street asked how I train my dogs
Got some studying done at the library
Bad:
I am super sunburned on my arms and shoulders
A shelf came loose in a cupboard and everything fell out
One of the glass bottles hit the badly done clinkers and it cracked, so now I have a hole in the floor.

I am really hungry but my pots are in the dishwasher so waiting for that to be done too.

Beetle on my shoulder

F-ing bugs! Just came in from the nightly bike ride with the dogs, put the computer in my lap and a beetle lands on my shoulder. I flew up and threw my computer on the floor, thanks to that damn insect. Now the bug is smusched and burned. While panicking I stepped on a tick which had fallen off one of the dogs, lucky me!

Went over to the stables before to get a paper signed, haha Ninja is such a wuss. She acts so tough and cool when walking by the stables and when we aren't near the horses but when up close she is scared to death of them. She even barked when I was petting one of the horses. I couldn't help myself from laughing.

Buggs everywhere!!

I had my balcony door open with the living room light on after dark, and now I just had to kill far to many bugs. Not only flies and flying insects, there where beetle like bugs too. So gross... My ceiling has lots and lots of spots on it now.

Yesterday I went to the end of the year dinner party at an amazing restaurant called the Boathouse, it is just by the river. It was fun and nice to get your mind off school for a day.

Sooooon I am going home! Less than 2 weeks to go. Now I am going for the usual night bike ride with the dogs!

4 dogs in 3 days

Oh my god it is so annoying now! Everyday, every walk we have a dog following us. Ninja is in heat, and she isn't helping getting rid of the dogs following us, rather luring them to us. In 3 days I have had 4 dogs follow me to outside of the house and stand and whine by the gate. I always walk around at the spot I found them for a while so that I might find the damn owner, but no. Never!! Doesn't anyone care about their dogs here? If one of my dogs ran away I would panic.

Oh yeah and I found 2 apartments with gardens that I would love to move to, but at the moment I don't have the time or the money to move, which sucks! But towards the fall I'll probably look after an apartment with garden again so the dogs can be outside and play.

School, study, I want to go home!

Written 2 exams today, have one on Friday and I don't know how many next week. Study study. Went in to town with the girls today, it was so nice to feel like you have a life again, but now I am super tired but I still need to study! 

I love the people I go in the same class with, everyone is awesome and it has been an amazing time. BUT it has been hard and I am sooo beat. Compared to Sweden it can be unfair here, they are not as strict in some ways and more strict in others. They do not have a real system for everything either, I am not fond of that. That is a reason why I would not recommend this school, but I would recommend it because it is an awesome experience and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I might do some posts in July or something with some facts and stuff that we have learnt during the first year of vet school, I don't really have time to write them now. 

Daisy update

Daisy, our oldest dog at the moment, has made such progress since moving away from the flock in Sweden to me and Ninja. Some improvements:
Likes water- she has always despised water
Likes running, with and without bicycle- she has never really liked that either
Plays with other dogs- she barely ever played before
Isn't aggressive any longer, just a little insecure
Is interested of people, at least a bit- before she wouldn't look at a persons way if it wasn't one of us in the family and sometimes she even ignored us.

I just pulled some hairs out of Ninja's ears so now she is really mad at me and doesn't want to be cozy haha. Well I have a retake and a finals tomorrow, fun fun. Have to sleep now and get up early (if that is even possible) Nighty night!

Riding lesson

The riding lesson today was the best so far. I got a little panicked when I got a pony that was about 1,30 m hahahah. So tiny! AND it was a fjord horse, they are usually really slow and stubborn, but this little thing was superfun! It wouldn't be a horse I would like to ride often, but compared to the ones I have ridden on the other lessons this one was the most fun.

I can't stop thinking about the stray dog. I don't know what to do, he wasn't outside when I ran home from the stable, but that could be because it was poring down rain. I hope he is okay and found his way back home. I'll probably go look after him before school tomorrow and bring him to a clinic!

Doggy update! Stray dog and limping Ninja

Today when I was supposed to take a long walk with the dogs I came about 2 blocks before we met another dog, its owner was nowhere to be found and because both Ninja and Daisy are in heat it followed us(male dog) and I couldn't get rid of it either so the walk was very short, I went back with the girls and up to the apartment and went out looking for the dogs owner for 45 min because it was following me around. I didn't have time to find a vet clinic which is open at 5 pm on a Sunday so I put out water and a bone in front of the building for it. If it is still there tomorrow (it wasn't there now when I came back from riding) I'll take it with me to school and check for a chip. 

Ninja is limping in her left leg again, she did that for a while back home in Sweden. I don't know why she is limping but if she continues doing it tomorrow I'll take her to school too! 

Long walk and dark hair

Went our for a looong walk with the dogs today. Daisy and Ninja went swimming in a dirty pond not far from here. Ninja swam around in the pond for about 10min, she was in heaven (she looooves water). I have to get a camera or phone with camera soon!

We have before pics of Henri's and my hair but we forgot to take after pics, so will have to do that another day. My hair became very dark/deep red anyway, I was trying to get away from the dark hair but I guess it is impossible! Maybe next year..

Switched roles

Today's walk was different! Ninja ran away and Daisy played and rolled around in the water for like 20min (she usually despise water), switched roles... We had an exam this morning, and lecture which no one probably went to. Today Henri and I are going to color our hair and study histology. Henri has slept over at my place 2 nights in a row now, we have studied and watched movies, it has been nice to have someone more in the apartment.

Update

Its been stressful now the last week or two. Got a little depressed after being home in Sweden for 2 awsome days! Linn is going to be gone when I come back home too, she is going to the us, and I don't have any pics of her on her graduation day because my phone got stolen jippie! I have one on Emelie because I put it on facebook, so that is good at least.

I stole stuff from the freezer too when in Sweden so now I am sitting and eating a sandwich with "kalvkorv" (on google translate it says calf sausage, but it isn't a hole sausage it is just slices. hehe)

Today I am going to cook for Henri, go get my dogs from 2 awesome girls; elin and alex; who watch my dogs sometimes! Aaaaand study, woho!
