Daisy's stitches on the stomach. The big thingy is a compressor, the stitches have a little dirt from the "dress" she is wearing, I tried to remove the dirt but it was hurting Daisy to much. Thankfully we are going to the clinic tomorrow!

Today has been a calm day, I have just watched Grey's anatomy and studied for a biochem test on Wednesday.

And around 18 o'clock

Now, 10 cm of snow outside! So crazy but it is beautiful.

Gave Daisy antibiotic and painkillers by myself at home today.

The stitches on her thigh are less swelled today.

Had to look at the stitches on the stomach, I don't know how it is supposed to look but that looks strange. I think I am going to call the clinic tomorrow.

Daily update

Passed the anatomy exam and the histology, yaaaay! Then I skipped the last class to go home to Daisy, not good for her to be alone to long the day after her operation. I got Daisy at home and went to the vet, there she got her antibiotics and painkillers injected, and I got one of each for everyday until Tuesday, when I am going back with Daisy.

It is supernice weather, but SUPERcold!

Tonight the gang is going to see the James Bond movie, but I can't join because of Daisy, but that is okay we will have a cozy night in the apartment together! I might have to miss the party of the year(!!!) on Halloween at Janne, Anne-mette and Camilla's place because I have to take care of Daisy. Instead I'll have a horror movie marathon!

Daisy after operation

Sleep and I haven't really been friends since a week back.. I have had to worry about Daisy, been through drama, had to study through the night, been really sick and now I am superworried about Daisy again. 

I left her at the vet clinic this morning for the operation and came and got her at 18 again. My heart aces even more now seeing her like this, than when I found out she had cancer. She is hurting a lot, and Daisy never shoes pain (I mean really never...) so now she is trying to cover it up again but she can't totally cover it now, so she must reaaallly be hurting. 

Tomorrow I have the comparative anatomy exam, I really don't know how that will go. I am trying to study now but it is hard with everything that's happened. Right now I am trying to get some food in me, I haven't dared making dinner because I thought Daisy might get hungry, but when I tried to feed her a little she refused to eat (she eats everything, and would love to eat all day long...) so now I am worrying about that too. 

This sucks.

Sick

I am kind of sick today so I have been home all day. When I was okay for about 1-2 h I took Daisy for a long walk, and met a nice older woman. She said that Daisy was beautiful and very different compared to the schnauzers in Poland, it turned out that she was an old English teacher and she gave me her number if I ever had any questions or needed help so that was nice of her!

Horrific trip

Sunday sucked!!

We flew to Amsterdam around 17.50 and then to Warsaw, circled Warsaw for about 1 h, flew back to Amsterdam and landed about 00.40. Then we had to rearrange our flight because we got booked on the 15.00 flight, and got our room in the hotel at 2.00. Then we went back to the airport at 5 am to check in, but it turned out that the booking was never fully completed so Ida was checked in on the 15 flight. After some nagging it was fixed and we had to hurry to get to the gate, and we got on the Paris flight. Ida was sat in business class and I beside a big man, so I couldn't sleep and the sandwich we got was disgusting. When we finally arrived in Warsaw our luggage had been sent with another flight, but THANK GOD it came with a flight close to ours. Then we took a cab directly to school, it was a crazy long day.

Flew home this weekend for a concert and to see my family a few days.
Ida stayed with me, it was fun to show someone where you live when they live in another country! On

Friday evening: We just had a cozy night with mom in front of the tv; ate some fruit, chocolate fondue, wine and food.

Saturday day: Drove Ida in to town to see her best friends, and walked a while through stores. Then I met my grandparents and ate apple pie grandma had made.

Saturday afternoon/night: We got a ride over to Emmelie and there we pre-partied with her family who were supernice. Then we took a cab into town where we went to the RIVAL SONS concert, it was awesome!

Sunday: Mom, Ida and I took a walk with the dogs in Pixbo and by Gunnebo castle. Then the horrible trip began...

Cancer-Daisy

Had a horrible Wednesday. I found out that Daisy had 2 types of cancer; skin and mammary gland. I had to wait until 16.00 on Thursday to find out how bad it was, I was kind of panicking all Wednesday. I got good news on Thursday, it was malignant but very early stage so everything will be fine. This Thursday she is being operated, so I'll drop her off before school and come get her when I am done in school.

Beauty pageant and Rival sons!

Today has been a good day. Our first lecture was cancelled so I didn't start classes until 13.15, and I was kind of slow this morning so I just put on an old dress and my hair in a ponytail and left for school. When I arrived at school everyone said I looked real pretty and when I went to the Deans office to leave a paper Danuta asked if I would be interested in joining the university's beauty pageant. So that was not what I expected of this day.

Although now it is suckish because I have to study histology all night and before i start with that I have to go over to bibbamansion (Bieber-mansion, my dear friends Ida, Henri and Angelica who love him) and practice a presentation for Veterinary economy with them.

On Friday Ida and I go home to Gothenburg, yaaay. It is only for like 1 ½ days. We leave on Friday and arrive in the evening and by then mom will have fixed a cosy evening with fruit, chocolate and wine. On Saturday Ida is meeting her 2 best friends in town and I might meet a friend and grandma and grandpa. Then in the afternoon Ida and I are going home to Emmelie, where we will have preparty with her family for the Rival sons constert! And on Sunday we go back home again.

Second fieldtrip

Today we went on a second fieldtrip, yaay. It smelled a lot, I puked into my mouth a bit when we went in to the birds, I did not think that would happen but it did.

The fourth years had removed an abscess from this cow!
