Crazy morning

I am at Schipol airport in Amsterdam at the moment, it is been heck of a day so far.

I got up in good time, did everything I had to and 30min before the taxi is supposed to come I remember I need to vaccinate her. I don't have a phone to call the taxi company and I don't have time to run to the clinic. Then the taxi is 15 min late, it drives me to the clinic and at the clinic it takes forever until I can come in but when I tell them my taxi to the airport is outside they became very fast and nice! So I get to the airport and everyone is very helpful but the animal check-in this time was crazy, I had to fill out and sign a lot of papers and answer questions. Then when I was supposed to leave her they were superslow, so when I actually got passed the security check I hear "Last call out for final call for passengers leaving with the flight to Amsterdam at gate 39) so I have to run. Finally on the plane and a screaming baby sits behind be.

Now it is only 20min until I board the flight to Gothenburg which is a bit shorter. They will probably have lost my dog and luggage when I arrive haha! Oh well, at least I'll be in Sweden for 2 weeks!

Sleepy time

It has been a long day. It started with anatomy at the stables, then a few hours study, exam and then home. Took a loooong walk with Linnea and Marley, we walked over to the woods and got lost there for a while. I am so beat, we are taking a nap but I should really be cleaning the apartment and packing. Should probably get on that now.

Daisy has been such a great dog the last week. Today in the forest Marley ran away because he saw someone throw a stick, after a bit of delay Daisy ran after. I became scared that she would jump on or bite the owner or dog, but when she arrived at them she was like "wazz up" took a walk around the stroller next to them and walked back to me. Such a proud moment! She has also stopped caring about other dogs, she still gets a little stressed around big dogs, but she doesn't do anything.

Drink and study

Studying did not go to well so Linnea and I met up with the dogs, took a walk and sat down at a restaurant outside, then when it closed we walked over to the student/sport pub next to it and there we could have the dogs inside so Daisy sat on the sofa and Marley layed on the floor, while we studied microbiology and drank beer.

Porridge

I finally found oat flakes to make porridge! no one has found it here yet but FINALLY! It is the small things that count.

Daisy is dead, she didn't wake up until I lifted her out of the bed at 10.30... Guess the 3 long walks yesterday took a toll on her..

Soaked

Daisy became so warm so she was down swimming and walking around in the stream with the toads, and they probably got a bit irritated when she was steering up their home and making them move. Daisy ended up on the wrong side of the stream when we were walking and attempted jumping over it, at the grossest place, and did a belly flop into the disgusting water at the deepest part... So now it is time for a bath!

It is sooo warm today, this morning it rained for 10 min and since them it has been nice. I walked in a short-sleeved top the whole doggy walk!

Toad invasion

Jessica and I were out with Daisy and Fox for a long walk now. We went through the forest and along a stream which was FULL of toads and frogs, when we reached the pond there was a total invasion of them. We couldn't take one step without one jumping in front of us. Jessica is a bit scared of frogs too so it was hilarious walking there. I had to save one out of a plastic bag too, so bad how people just through bottles and bags when there are trashcans everywhere!

20 degrees

Out on the balcony at Linnea, studying for the exam on Friday! Think that it was snow a week ago, a big plus for Poland. Only 5 days 'til i leave for Sweden with Daisy! I fixed immunology too, so I will do an extra test on the labs I miss when I come back. 

Storage for my pencils while I study without a table hehe. 

Daisy bleeding out

Stupid me. I remembered that I hadn't cut Daisy's claws in over 2 weeks, so I just did that, BUT... Daisy's claws were a little long, thought I'd take a little extra, Daisy flinches and I cut to much so I cut the pulp, and not little either. I don't have the powder for coagulation or potato flour so it has been bleeding crazy much. I got quite worried, and I read somewhere that nasalspray can make the capillaries diameter become smaller. So I tested that but Daisy licked it away and stimulated the damn bleeding, so it seemed like she was bleeding out and I now have blood everywhere. There was a real flow to it, so I sprayed on antiseptics and nasalspray while holding an ice-clamp to it and up in the air. So now it seems to be coagulated, but I put a piece of kitchen towel taped around her paw so she wouldn't ruin it again.

And I was going to go bed early today......... I will wait a while more to be sure so I can take of the towel for the night and let it breathe. The hard thing is Daisy wants to clean herself, she has already cleaned the floor and my hands twice and then she will stimulate the bleeding again.

exhausted

Today has been a looong day.. 8-19 in school, with a horrific exam. I think I failed it, but at least (I found out today) I passed Immunology. I am sooo freakin' tired. Tomorrow it is just to start studying again to the microbiology test on Friday.

On Friday it is hairdying time with Henri, cleaning apartment and packing!

I have the worst exam ever tomorrow and I still know nothing. yay.

Daisy has been really sensitive and easily stressed throughout the whole day, I don't really know why but maybe she just woke up on the wrong side of the bed today.

I don't wannaaaaa, I feel like a baby I just want to scream and cry over this.... aaaaaah pooop.

I let her sit in my lap while studying because she wouldn't calm down. It helped a little for her. 

Great day

Up until I got the migraine it was a great day, we went out with the dogs for a long walk. It was sunny and warm, took a beer and pancakes at the stable restaurant with the dogs, etc..

Migraine

Wrong day to get a migraine, I have one of the hardest exams I am ever going to have (Because of the teacher) on Monday and I have to study but I can't because I have the woooooorst headache and I have no pills working against it and I can't sleep because of the anxiety over the test... Jippie

Flowers!

So freaking sweet, David (foster owner to the puppy I watched a few days) came over with flowers now!

Weird medicin

I am dying here. Today spring began- my pollen allergies kicked in as hell! I am sitting here with crazy itchy and swollen eyes and cannot find the meds I bought 5 days ago! However I found a medication (No-spa) I have no recollection at all of buying or getting, it seems to be a musclerelaxtor, which is kind of weird. I was thinking that I maybe got it for Daisy but I never got tablets for her only shots.. hmmm....

Amazing omelet

What I cooked for dinner yesterday was AMAZING. I cooked bacon, omelet and croutons. The omelet consisted of: Eggs, milk, lot of sambalolek, shredded carrot and cheese and a lot of jalapenos- it tasted sooo good and I don't really like eggs that much. The croutons was white toastbread which I fried in the bacon fat and garlicsalt until crispy. NAM NAM. With a sallad on the side of course! 

I ate the last lasange mom cooked for me (and I had in my freezer for forever) today, so sad, but I go home in 9 days! 

Marley

Daisy is tired

Morning walk (15min), afternoon walk (40 min), run by bicycle (15min), run by bicycle home (15min), walk with new doggy friend (1h) + the evening walk later tonight. That is all the exercise Daisy has gotten today, so now is sleepy time for her because she has had a long day!

I passed my physiology exam today, SCORE! Waiting for 1 result and 2 exams next week to go. Next Friday we are going to the stables for anatomy again, looking forward to it!! 

Oh yeah, I cut my finger twice this week. Been kind of distracted. 

Dog=Sheep

The best thing ever happened today, I couldn't stop laughing and I am still smiling!! I was out with Daisy and Marley for a walk and I passed a women and a stroller on the way, when I had walked passed them the child says "BÄÄÄ". Crazy exam session!

Why can't I just become healthy? I have been sick on and off since beginning of February. As soon as I become normal someone comes and gives me all their germs.

On Thursday I have Physiology exam nr 3, on Monday I have Animal nutrition exam nr 1, on Tuesday I'll maybe have an extra Immunotest so there will be no problem with me missing 2 labs (for some reason we are just allowed to miss one which is crazy and stupid), and finally on Friday next week I have Microbiology exam nr 5. Then on Saturday around noon Daisy and I fly back to Sweden for a 2 week visit.

I'll be working at Gothenburg horseshow for most of the time though. I hope it will be worth it because I have horrific days and I will have to study simultaneously so I don't end up behind and so I am ready for the exams when I come back!

SUNNY

The day starts good, I get up and walk to school while studying for the exam. I get some complements in school, such as you look summerish and well-rested. Happy happy. I ride the bicycle towards home to take out Daisy, it is green for me at the crosswalk/bicyclecross, a car keeps driving- I panic break and fall over the bicycle with a coffe in my hand- I get scrapes and coffee all over myself. I continue towards the pharmacy where I have a note with everything I need prepared in polish. I come in there is a man behind the counter, I give him the note which first says "pain medication for menstrual cramps" he grinns, holding his laughter (very unprofessional for a grown man working in a pharmacy) he walks over to one of the girls working and asks  she looks a little angry at him and point to the medication. The girls in there were very nice and understanding, I wasn't embarrassed though because I am so crazy happy today because it is SUN. The nicest day of the year so far!

I am home now, put out a blanket on the balcony  Daisy ran out directly and she has been sunbathing for 15 min now. Happy happy!

So pleased!

Blood.. It is good to have a mum with all kinds of medications, she sent a whole armada of medications with me when I moved so it is clean and have antibiotics on.

Black and white family

The only thing I have in my fridge now is sambalolek, cheese and softcheese so I have been living on tee and hardbread with softcheese and sambalolek. I really have to go grocery shopping...

The weekend has been me sitting infront of the computer watching series, when I need to study. So yesterday evening and today I have been at Linnea and Alex so I can get something done before the exam tomorrow.

No phone

I set my alarm on the phone, put it on the charger and fell asleep. I wake up 2 hours late wondering why the alarm never went off, OH my phone is dead and I haven't been able to start it since yesterday morning.

There is still snow up to my knees here, sucks a bit but Daisy both likes and hates it.

I got my ivory card from KLM yesterday, I have been a member since October so that is kind of weird.

I had lots of interesting stuff to write about but I forgot all of them. I am going to the movies tonight- The host. Now I am off to Linnea's to drink some wine and study!

Snow is killing

Jag ser det snöar, jag ser det snöar det var väl skitig jaha. Nu är det vår, nu är det vår och jag ser snö varje dag. 
Yes we still have snow, and it keeps coming. Everyone is in a bad mood because of it! It is April... Yesterday and today Henri and I went to the library and reading room. She is a bit ahead of me in studying, since I didn't get anything done when I had the puppy. I finshed my physiology seminar, but I still need to read through the script so I have a clue what I am talking about. I can maybe upload my 2 anatomy seminars and 1st physiology seminar, although there are only key points in the powerpoints.

True love happens not only once

I do not think we find true love only once. We change throughout our entire lives- personality, looks, feelings, priorities and so on. So when you think you have found true love you have found the person which changes in the same velocity; same tempo and direction. I think that is why so many leave each other in the end; they evolve onto different paths.
To find the one you can grow old with is luck, it is hoping that you will meet at the right moment in both of your lives, when you are in the same place at the same time. So there are many chances throughout life to meet a person who matches you enough to become your true love.

This has nothing to do with the text, but I do love that pup!

Easter evening

Easter spirit! 

On Saturday I went to Linneas for easter brunch and dinner. We made american panncakes, bacon and eggs for brunch. Played some with the dogs, sang, drew on eggs and had a nap. Then more people came when it was dinner time, bringing lots of different and crazy delicious food.
Later that evening Henriette, Daniel, Philip and me went out, it took forever to find an open club but the night was great fun!

New dog games

I love the little zoo shop in the house next to mine, it has everything new and they seem to like me too. I have been looking everywhere for dog games, I forgot to bring those we have back in Sweden with me. Finally this shop got the games made by Nina Ottosson in. I got some training candy for free for both dogs (they remember both Daisy and the pup). They had 5 games, one I already have in the apartment and 2 we have in Sweden so I bought the hardest one of the those we do not have, so Daisy would have something to work with.

30cm snow

Yesterday it snowed about 20cm and it is still snowing, WHERE ARE YOU SPRING??

Today's dog walk was a little hectic at first. There were 11 dogs, 4 of which were new. We split up because some of us felt that it was too much for the dogs, so we walked with the big dogs and puppy one way and all the smaller dogs the other. It so cold that I could not feel my feet and they are still hurting haha.
