ALL EXAMS PASSED! 5th semester done.

We had pathophysiology final today, when I walked out I said "There where a lot of pathophys questions on that test".. Stupid..

I am exhausted, my sinuses are bothering me and I have to gather energy to celebrate this semesters end.

 I went to the mall to buy black pants, I ended up wandering a lap and buying a pair (hope they fit) and went home, while all of my friends were trying on pretty dresses.

When I finally came home D and I layed down for a powernap, just as I fall asleep I wake up, due to a dream where a dog pulls and barks, and I see Daisy still asleep but choking. I hit her on the chest a few times, she woke up and coughed up something which she swallowed again haha.

Then I go to the grocery store, do a fast shopping round and end up waiting for 30min for the damn bus. The first 3 didn't show so I walked to another bus stop.

Now I have walked D and eaten dinner. Into the shower, down to the shop and off to the preparty.

Nightmare hairdresser

Went to the hairdresser yesterday. She scared the begeeses out of me. She asked about how much I wanted to cut then she got a scissor and just cut of a big chunk. I freaked out but was so shocked that I froze with a strange face and the hairdresser just laughed and walked away. In the end she fixed it though and I am very pleased with the result!

I bought this AMAZING jumper. Love it (Daisy).

But my ponytail is small and short!

It is supercold outside and really windy! I hate going on long walks now because it is though and freezing haha.

The snow in some places are up to my knees.

Even if I wear thick jeans and pantyhose this happens..

I bought a new rug at Zara home on sale!  Finally I can throw out the ugly one from Ikea.

Pathomorphology

Passed the pharmacology test too! 

I am so fed up with studying, we only have one left tomorrow but I really can't be bothered. 

Daisy got a sweater from the pugs, she now looks like The beetles dog haha.

Hahaha I thought Linnea was next to me, it was a jogger...

I do not think I passed it so there will be a retake either next week or next month!

After the test we went for a long walk on the field. The dogs were very happy, after being inside all day for a few days.

Polish test oral

I just got an answer from one of the clinics I am applying to a summer-job, they were very interested and would like an interview. Excited! We will see if it will be in March or over Skype.

Pathophysiology test 1 retake

I had the retake today, it was not a very nice test, so I do not know if I passed or not.

After the test I went to the oncologist with Daisy's test results. She is having the last surgery in either April or May. It will be fine, she has a good prognosis. The tumor was simple carcinoma stage I, so caught it earlier than the first time.

In 15 min I am heading back to school for the last histopathology lab.

Interesting fact: I have been sick for about a week, very nauseous, almost vomited and severe headache. It was coming and going so I didn't know what it was, until yesterday. I have been drinking fungi/mold for over a week. I am bringing the waterbottle to the microlab today, see if I can figure out what type it is.

In the library.

Yesterday the dog who never cuddles longer than 10s fell asleep in my lap. I didn't move for 1h, so I felt the whole time like a 70-year old with arthritis. It was a relief when she stood up and walked away.

Eventful Saturday.

Yesterday night I skyped with my bestie Julia and made panncakes (both swedish and american). So I didn't get to bed until 2am. At 7.30 am I got a text telling me it is time for breakfast. So I headed over to Ida and Henri with the present! She got a vinyl player from Ida, Jennie, James and I. 

At 11-12 I was at the library, and has been up until now. Daisy is at a sleepover at Katarinah, while I hardcore study for my pathophys retake. 

Might go over to the girls for a movie in a while, just to take a well-deserved break!

Parashitology test 2

I got a bit angry after the test. I answered perfectly on all questions except for the last followup. I was thinking the answer but didn't dare say it because it sounded too stupid. Then I got a 4,5 instead of a 5. It wouldn't have mattered if my partner wouldn't have gotten a 5 (I am happy that she got a 5!) even though she couldn't answer a few of the followup questions. He corrects unfairly, I think. Oh well, it is good anyway, one exam less.

I have been feeling really sick the last few days, almost puked in school today. I have no clue why because it comes and goes. 

Tonight I am just having a cozy evening with my dog, because Sat and Sun I will be living at the library.

Our last test of this exam period is 31th of January. Then we are off until 3rd of March if I do not get any retakes!

So now I am going back to studying so I can pass all of these. I am mostly scared of Pathophysiology and Pharmacology.

Farm trip!

Everyday I'm studying... (in the melody of "everyday I'm shuffling" )

Yesterday we went to the farm, Obory. Got to learn how to clinically examine a cow and the most common diagnostic disorders in cow. It was fun. I love when we do practical things (even if it was a small test in the end). I would of loved to have it during fall though because now we are being bombarded with exams.

I was so caught up in everything so I forgot to take pictures. We are going back next semester though, and in 4th year I'll be spending 2-3 days a week at the farm. So there will be plenty of pictures of cows and disgusting wounds.

It was great weather outside the other day. Yesterday it snowed...

Saturday

Yesterday I went with Hela to the stable. It was really fun, I rode an arabic horse. I do not ride him very well, because I am not stable enough in the saddle. Although we work very well together, great together in jumping (which we did) and towards the end I felt him starting to properly work. 

 On Wednesday we went to a vet stable, it was mostly practice for those who hasn't had contact with horses. Put on a bridle, halter, brushing, lounging, etc.

New years eve

I spent new years eve with a few old friends. They cooked a very nice 3 course meal, we played charades, sang singstar and watched the fireworks!
