Yesterday I booked a last minute ticket to Sweden. In the evening I baked lots of cookies and biscuits, while Katarinah made dinner. 

2 garments which have been laying in my wardrobe, waiting for summer to come!

Weekend

Emelie came to visit me over the weekend. On Friday I met her at the airport and ordered in dinner. Emelie wanted to go out too, so we did, but on Saturday I paid for it. I do not handle alcohol well so it was not a fun day. At least we went and ate burgers at 7 burgers in the evening. Sunday was more eventful; shopping mall, coffee, a short town walk, foot bath and facial masks.

I also spring-cleaned during Friday.

Felt nice to have a reason to dress in normal clothes and put on mascara, instead of wearing tights, a big shirt and bun on my head all day. Now I am fine with being lazy another week haha.

I couldn't imagine my life without my little ball. The last year we have just been facing problems, but she has never been as happy anyway, so I have decided we'll keep fighting until the day it affects her spirit. I still have the determination to live with her for at least 7 years more!

I am training to run a half marathon in the end of March. When I ran the Gothenburg half marathon I didn't feel the pressure, I just had the goal to jog the whole thing, because I was running it alone. This one I am running with 2 friends, so I have to start doing more strength training so I actually have the capacity to run 2 miles.

Skype

The other day I skyped with Lisen! We ended up skyping for 2 h, not planned at all. Now I am trying to convince friends to skype with me because I don't really have a lot to do. Well tomorrow afternoon Emelie comes to visit me over the weekend! 

I am sitting in the reading room at school now, just to get a change of scenery and something done. The latter statement is not going to well. I am watching Saturday night live on Youtube instead haha.

JOB OFFER!

This morning we went riding. When we arrived all of the normal horses were taken and Hela got a new horse while I got a horse that recently had a foal. When I got the sharpest bit in the stable I realized that I will be riding a hot-headed horse.

The horse was fun and a challenge. I got to ride separately from the others (as I usually do because I do not know enough polish) because the horse is a bit crazy, so I was working hard on the side so it went fine. Then we started jumping a single bar, and it continued with a 2 jump combination. We are preparing for the springs jumping competitions.

 

When I got back home (after a doggy walk too of course) and sat down with my lunch I got a call from Blå Stjärnan, I got the job!! So this summer I will be working as a veterinary nurse/technician.

Now back to studying!

Daily update

 It has been great weather today, spring is coming! Started with going to school and booking a time at the dental specialist, then grocery shopping.

 I am going to start to try and remember taking pictures of the strange houses/neighbors I can find here. You can find new built, modern houses next to dumps or places that have been standing there forever in the middle of the city.

A great day.

The morning started out at 8 O'Clock with a walk in the field with the dogs and Linn. 

After that I went riding with Hela. It has gone over a month since last and before that 3 weeks, so I wasn't expecting anything great, but it went really good. I was focusing only on myself this lesson. 

Misty, 6 years, hadn't been ridden in a few days so she went bananas. I have never sat on a big horse that can buck that high. I fell of twice, but it was a good thing, a challenge. After that I started working better with my legs and she kept bucking, until finally I got one canter without the craziness and then I was done. She is still young so she still has a bit to learn, so we ended on top.

Now I have taken a bath and relaxed a bit. Today I will hopefully get some studying done.

Oh yeah. My vacuum broke.

Unnecessary post

On Sunday Linnea and Linus made really good sushi!  

I am dogsitting Marley for 2 weeks while Linnea is in Thailand.

Little brother visiting

My brother came on Monday to visit me. We went with a gang of friends to Brooklyn burgers for dinner, after we moved on to drinks at Flow. 2 days later we went to the shooting range which was great. Yesterday we went to the shopping mall, and were supposed to go gokarting. When we arrived at the gokart place it was closed for renovation which was not mentioned on the website.  

The dogs seem to love Derek haha.

Out jogging today, 10 km!! I am so tired now. I really need to start training strength, I would love to run longer but my legs do not have the muscle strength for it.

Graduation ceremony today! I am so looking forward to when it is my turn.

I think the pugs like sleeping on other dogs.

 Wednesday was my day to hold the sleepover! It was so cosy!!
