In vet diagnostic lab I snuck in with group 1 which had small animal clinic lab yesterday so Daisy could get an examination of our teacher whom is a cardiologist(heart specialist) in both America and Poland.
It turns out Daisy's heart in perfect health, yay. Still have to do a third neoplasm (cancer) operation though because I have found a minimal tumor again. Probably an adenocarcinoma too.
In this class we learn how to examine the animals. So last time I didn't have class with them because my small animal clinic labs are in November, but last time they got to practice general examination, counting pulse, tying a mussel and watch how to interact with clients.
This Wednesday when I joined we went through respiratory and cardiac general examination:
*Look at mucous membranes
*Feel mandibular lymph nodes and mandibulary salivary gland
*Feel trachea
*Feel subscapular lymph nodes + another I forgot
*Feel maximum heartbeat
*Feel after enlarged liver/spleen
*Feel inguinal+popliteal lymphnodes
*Listen to heart base and apex
*Listen to trachea
*Listen to lungs
Then she did the ultrasound/ECG on Daisy and the next clients dog.
