Today I went to a Swedish Christmas brunch at a friends house. It was really nice and very fun. Forgot to take pictures though.

I just skyped with my friend Emelie and towards the end with her family for 1h. It was nice to talk to her, I only had time to meet her once during the summer, and we haven't skyped in a really long time. I will meet her after Christmas hopefully!

Daisy's blog

I know Daisy never updated her last blog, she thought it was too much effort to write stuff. So now she has a new one with mostley pictures!

 I AM A DINOSAUR!

I really want to go riding tomorrow. They are having a Christmas lunch and secret-Santa celebration, but I can't go because I can't leave D that long and I already have plans to go to a Swedish Christmas brunch!

So I'll have to go during the week instead.

We only have a Virology exam and Pathophysiology seminar left before Christmas! It has been so crazy calm this semester, we have had exams but we have actually had time to study for them... It is so strange. I actually feel bored.

Saint Lucia

Today was a tough day for D. In the morning she really didn't want me to leave for school, then I came back 2h later and got her.
1. we went to the vet
2. went to a class and then to a lab
3. then for a walk
4. home
5. walked over to the pugs
6. celebrated Lucia
7. had to walk home in the rain.
After 5 days of restlessness and sleeping this was really hard. So now she is curled up in a blanket, sleeping.

Post-op. update!

It is now day 4 of recovery and Daisy is acting like her normal self. It is strange, because after previous operations she has been in pain, not been able to walk, had bad reactions, etc. So it just means Dr. P. Jurka is a GREAT surgeon and veterinarian. We are heading back tomorrow for a check-up before the weekend, and to get the injections.
First short walk since the operation.
When I picked her up, she just wanted to go home!

When we came home she slept the rest of the day

Operation update

Today I left Daisy for her operation, I didn't watch the operation because I felt sick and emotional. It turns out that she will have to go through 2 operations, one this morning and another in a month. I went to pick her up but was told that they wanted to keep her under supervision until tomorrow morning. So I am picking her up at 8 o'clock.
