Tatra mountains

For the weekend I wanted to go hiking in the Tatra mountains, but Poland is very strict with hiking, accomodation and camping. Not like in Sweden where you have the right to walk and camp anywhere you please, as long as you leave the area the same way it as as when you came there. In the Tatra National park on the polish side you have to pay to get in (it is not a big amount, but nature should be free), you are not allowed to camp (There are specific huts where you have to pay to stay the night) and you are not allowed to bring your dogs into the park (even if you have them on leach and muzzled).

On the Slovakian side you are at least allowed to have the dogs in the park if they are on leach and muzzled. You are still not allowed to camp, and you cannot bring your dogs into the mountain huts.
So now I am trying to find accomodation in Zdiar near the mountain, so we could hike for a day and then back to the hostel/hotel.

In the summer I will hike in Sweden with the dogs for a week or so instead. Maybe head up north to the mountains, if it is not too expensive!
